1. The power of goal setting

2. Fundamental key for all lifelong success plan is goal setting

3. Law of familiarity – so used to things you start to take them for granted.

4. Practice daily – teaching fundamentals

5. Mother d skill – repetition

6. Power of goals – with goals we create the future in advance, we shape our life

7. Goals can create the power to make us grow and develop our success. We need something compelling enough to drive us forth

8. If you have goals that you are excited enough you will figure out how to make it happened

 9. Spheres of life:
-          - Personally
-          - Emotionally
-          - Socially
-          - Spiritually
-          - Physically
-          - Financially

What is real to you is based on your past

10. So don’t get real, get intelligent

11. Big enough goals = drive you

12. “How am I doing it” – that is not the first step

13. FIRST STEP – GET IT DOWN

14. You become creator when you write down goals and are absolutely clear why you want them because

15. Fundamental key to life changing is:

Purpose is stronger than outcome

16. The purpose of any goal is what it will make of you as person

Problems of setting a goal:
  • 1.       People take it for granted, people are not  consistent
  • 2.       People don’t take it seriously, don’t  realize that when they set a goal they are creating something in life
  • 3.       People don’t know WHY they are going for that, find the reason

17. Reasons come first answers some second

18. If you have reasons big enough to do something, you will figure our how to do it 

19. The power of goals is the "WHY" behind them

*desire means in Latin "Of the father"

Why do goals really work? 

  • whatever we focus consistently we experience in out life - get consistent
  •  
  • when you set a goal - you tell you conscious and subconscious that where you now are is not where you want to be - you notice distinguishes and you feel them, the brain then become dissatisfied   and part of what motivate human action is the sense of dissatisfaction
  •  
  • Create not only positive WHYs but also negative WHYs - what will be the price of you don't accomplish this.
20. Pressure is what creates human behavior

21. Pressure can be a positive tool for influencing yourself to take consistent

22. Set goals twice a year, revise goals – once a month, top goals – daily

Assignment:
1.       1. Write down what are some areas of your life you are dissatisfied with
2.       2. What couple of additional beliefs you need to have to set goals and achieve them?

PP II - Day 8 (today's word - change)


1. Take control over your life by changing your core belief system

2. Personal power is what creates results, it is the ability of consistently taking action, to follow though in spite of fears and challenges around you

3. Steps:
- What you want, what is your outcome
- Take action
- Notice whether it is working or not
- Got to be flexible, change the approach

4. The power of role modeling – find someone who has what you want and do exactly what he’s done

5. The 2 controlling forces – pain and pleasure

6. 5 questions when we wake up

7. Believe in repetition

8. Process:
- Identify the belief you want to change
- Link enough pain to it so to want to change it
- Create a new set of empowering beliefs to replace the old ones.
- After identifying the new belief link massive pleasure to it (How: thinking of the positive consequences)
- Condition yourself to feel phenomenal when you think of this new belief.

Some empowering beliefs

o The past does not equal the future. Past gives learning and distinguishes bit does not control my present or my future
o There is always a way

Dickens’s pattern – technique to change someone who doesn’t want to be changed

1. Get yourself to experience massive pain and relate that to your present belief and behavior (looking into the past, the present and the future – 5, 10, 20 years from now)
2. Then break that pattern by changing your position, gestures, and feelings. Soar into the vibration of being good, of being the opposite of that old belief.
3. Experience the positive power of the new pattern

Assignment: Write a paragraph or two how these new beliefs enhance your life.
